Anonymous, 14 Jun 2019You're stupid if you think they'd just cancel it after all ... moreSamsung, rethink that chunky and not fully flush closing design before you proceed with V2.
Take a hint from Huawei's MateX, not a copy like you did with the Note10...

...and you know that because thousands of companies put millions and billions into R&D only to chuck the prototype(s) in the bin ( trash ) and move on right?

I for say Samsung made the right call for the callback of their fold it obviously has a glaring flaw that needs to be fixed before releasing it to the public. If released as is Samsung's name will go to the gutter. I'm now no longer surprised of the lack of care from Huawei's products it's fold version is even worst in opening/closing plus their software application & OS is the pits. The funny thing is Huawei is pushing forward with a very obvious flawed product to the masses. Huawei now reminds me of the local mom & pop dollar store product lineup.

If this were an apple made product. This comment section would full with negative comments but when samsung did this like in the past with note 7 fiasco, everyone:”it’s okay, keep it up,learn from mistakes” . Those things never ever be said to apple if this were apple. So sad

Anonymous, 14 Jun 2019You're stupid if you think they'd just cancel it after all ... moreI disagree. The project itself is clearly a failure, but they can still learn from their mistakes. This is doing nothing right now other than giving Samsung a bad reputation. It's far more sensible to cancel this phone and use all their research to make a new product having learned from the blatant mistakes in this one.

Samsung started this folding train halo.
But companies like Huawei, Xiaomi, Motorola, Lenovo will end it where Samsung will just watch others being sucessful. .

Something has gone seriously wrong for them to do this. At least they didn't release the devices to consumers and only then start seeing problems like the Note7.... It might be best to cancel this device and go back to the drawing board.
