I saw the video and it is ugly, unless the plastic is made of titanium.

My bet is on that it won't be launched at all.

Let those early adopters iron out all the faults.

Who will throw at the toilet 1500-1800 euro on a product alreay D.O.A. from a brand already dead ??

BigDisplay, 15 Jun 2019You know this because???Read GSMArena's article on Gorilla Glass for the reason we moved from plastic to glass. I believe your memory is not that short and you are not that young to miss that transition period. The best is to fold the plastic screen inwards like what Samsung did and Sharp is proposing to do.

LG Superfan, 15 Jun 2019As far as I know every rebranding has to be certifiedWhat's a different name got to do with the same hardware? Doing that extra stuff no one needs producing confusion resulting in complete mess.

Are they assuming the ban will be lifted by September? Even if it releases running Google play services there won't be any software updates certified by Google

let me me be blunt, No Nation on this planet if it were in Chinas' position would sign a trade deal that allows the Huawei ban to remain in place after any deal

I am no lawyer, but that doesn't make me or anyone involved negotiations either

The monumental mistake the UN stable Genius made was to take Huawei hostage

No evidence, The US has stated that anyone installing Huawei Equipment will not be privy to reciprocal intelligence sharing just Pompeo threatening other Governments

Clue 1 notice , not one engineer from Verizon, AT&T, Sprint , Virgin has said this is how It could be done in theory (as it can't)

Clue 2 the U.K. Who the U.K worked in secrecy with Huawei in testing, this ( secrecy Trump on Twitter)
Again Vodafone, EE, O2, Three want Huawei simply because Trump has offered no evidence, please note Huawei equipment will be situated in home countries, so in the U.K.

Clue 3 itemised billing somehow Three produces a bill down to the nearest Kb, yet somehow there is not one competent U.K. engineer can't detect or stop the Terabytes of data being routed to Huawei, even though placed in secure U.K. location

Btw the Trade Agreements USA wanted China to sign included if USA raised a tariff, unlike now China could not retaliate with their own

Before, Before, Before any Trade deal is negotiated the Huawei ban has to be lifted
(If USA had provided any evidence, this would have been backed up by some earth based network)

I like you watched the news when Trump said he would impose tariffs on another $300 billion if President Xi did not meet him at the G20 (26-28/06/2019)

Clue 4 you only threaten China if after this meeting you want the world to think you've closes trade Deal

In this order Huawei ban removed ( how it no longer is a security threat, I await that)
                              TRADE DEAL

Huawei is free to chose whatever OS it wants it phones to run, but anyone who thinks that the BAN stays in place after a China USA is wrong

Walter C. Dornez, 15 Jun 2019I'm no lawyer, but judging on what the other guy said, he's... moreYeah but the ban terms said that the 90 days grace period was to support existing devices and customers. Not new ones

                                    https://www.gsmarena.com/us_delays_huawei_ban_for_90_days_its_android_license_is_temporarily_back-news-37129.php

"In this period Huawei will be able to purchase American-made goods "in order to maintain existing networks and provide software updates to existing Huawei handsets", according to a Reuters report. However, "the company is still prohibited from buying American parts and components to manufacture new products without license approvals that likely will be denied".

The Android license revocation has thus been put on hold for 90 days too, which means that in this time Huawei can still certify OS updates with Google for existing handsets"

And I don't think we heard that Huawei was granted new licenses for these devices so that's why I think we need clarification
