[deleted post]This article says it received May and April patch, I'm not sure I should believe you, how could your phone with a SD845 be updated less than a Redmi Note 5.

[deleted post]i am from the philippines and my region is set to, well, the philippines, and i received the update 3 days ago.

Pocophone F1 owner, 18 Jun 2019How come the F1 is going to receive MIUI 10.3.5.0 already? ... moreChange the Region to India then check for update. After installation, change the region to your country. I'm not from India nor China and I don't use those regions in my phone but I use that procedure just to get lastest "stable" updates for my Poco.

To everyone who are stuck at 10.2.3.0 and did not receive 10.3.4.0 stable, the second update was pushed in batches and poco developers received some negative feedback from the users. Hence it was not rolled to everyone. However, 10.3.5.0 stable is going to get rolled to everyone in phased manner as confirmed by Alvin, head of developer team. Also, it has already started receiving positive feedback from users who received the update.... so wait a bit more, you won't be disappointed.

Pocophone F1 owner, 18 Jun 2019How come the F1 is going to receive MIUI 10.3.5.0 already? ... morePoco just don't care about europe or elsewhere other than china and india... I do not think this OTA update will reach me also... No more poco or xiaomi s##t after this... They just don't care if you are in countries other than china or india... They just focus everything on them...

i honestly hated xiaomi when they decided to start making handsets- they mostly have copied ios devices; even down to tablets. well, that was not a surprise since miui from the start was a blatant clone of ios. what i loved about miui before was their icons and the optimizations, which did rival ios back in the day. xiaomi started from scratch, unlike oneplus, which was borne out of the bbk umbrella with oppo and vivo. the success of xiaomi from merely just a group of enthusiasts driven to optimize android through its roms to its current state was an envy of other chinese companies; its rise to fame and fortune seem to have happened overnight, and again from scratch. most techheads would agree that oneplus was actually inspired by xiaomi's success. of course, xiaomi's business model is bringing to the masses affordable gadgets in exchage of ads. i do hate chinese oems for their notoriety in copying and malware laced products, but recently they were the ones bringing forth new things to the table in the android world. also, my wife's redmi s2- an entry level at that, changed my perception about xiaomi and in general many chinese oems. but never oneplus. oneplus cashed in on xiaomi's success by coming up with an affordable flagship at mid-range price. while xiaomi kept its promise over the years of giving the masses affordable gadgets, oneplus has inched its pricing way up with every increment to flagship level now- that's the fact.

Anonymous, 19 Jun 2019I couldn't agree more, MIUI is the WORST Android skin ever ... moreto each his own. i actually loved the old touchwiz than today's one ui. i loved miui when it was simply a rom, but not that much anymore when they started making handsets. the poco launcher, which is still miui albeit with some modifications, is really quite useful and the "bloats" are far from being useless. theming engine is superb. i was finding a bit of touch lag the first few days i had the pocophone f1, but has since found a fix. needed very little learning curve to get used to miui. have seen no ads since day 1 and apparently ads were turned off by default out of the box. so, yes, i do love miui.

Anonymous, 18 Jun 2019I don't use Netflix but i know some people who got HD from ... morethe previous update brought the widevine l1 support but apparently it worked only for some other streaming sites but not for netflix. i have reactivated my netflix account 2 weeks ago and i can confirm that i still am unable to stream hd on netflix even after this current update. prior to the update with the widevine l1 support, i was unable to stream in hd in 2 of our local video streaming apps here in the philippines as well as netflix; the local apps have been fixed but not netflix.

i received the update 3 days ago and along with those mentioned it also brough the new charging animation that started with the mi 8, i think- the one with the purple round thing in the middle with the animated current flow going up. the lock screen clock customization does work on some third party themes, but then again some themes for miui/poco have customizable lock screens on its own. no perceived battery performance bug; i still am able to pull up to 10 hours of screen-on-time on a full charge.
