With Punch hole more people will choose to hide it, so it become bezel-like "black bar" , in the end just add the weight of software and also the "bezel". If you hate "bezel", then you can also unhide the punch hole again and get your so call perfect screen with hole on it, it not that good enough.

For example, burn-ins appear so quickly in the screen. The glass above the panel isn't aligned as well (only slightly but it matters)

Every or most phones are made by china mostly foxconn.
Xiaomi is equal to samsung in build quality they flagships last as long as Samsung flagships and they low end phones offers much better features and specs than samsung phones.
Xiaomi is not better only in paper but also in real life.
Trash is for only peopel which never had xiaomi and believe that the price makes quality which is a complete lie.
In our case samsung top phone manufacturing price is 320 euros.
Xiaomi top phone manufacturing price is 220 euros.
Samsung top phone selling vendor price starts at 1300 Xiaomi top phone vendor price is 500.
Which means companies like samsung rob their customers with feeling they buy a premium device which they pay for reality is customers pay greed of the companies.
In easy math Brand new S9 plus costed 1000 to 1600 bucks depends on ram and storage after just 6 months same device 1 month before Xmas costed 550 to 650 bucks depends on ram and storage. This says everything,
Brand new Pocophone were 350 bucks after a year cost 250 or up to 300.
Company greed and people hunger for money is what killing us humans and this planet.
