02 February, 2012
ICS nearly doubled its market share in January, but it's still only the fifth most popular Android release.

It seems that nVidia didn't benefit much from the huge sales-increase of tablets in December 2011, where tablet usage doubled, as the Tegra2+HC combo (pretty much all Tegra2 tablets come with HC and hardly any non Tegra2 tablet does) hardly gained any marketshare at all.

Still no update 2.3.5 in Malta. The only phone that got it is the Wildfire S :/

      I installed cm9 ics403 on O1 p500 but then my simcard didn't work. duh!

Anyway, that market share chart didn't help much when you develop app for android.
Always support Eclair up to ICS if you don't want to get bad comment on market. :)

that 1% of ICS isn't small by any means (at least I think so) because if there's just the Galaxy Nexus out there... it means Samsung has sold 2.5 million of them.. not bad!

AnonD-16334, 02 Feb 2012OMG! If the growth goes like this the result would be a 75 ... moreNotice that the numbers sum up to 100%. This does not say anything about other platforms or Android's market share. It is a sheer distribution of Android iterations relative to each other.

OMG! If the growth goes like this the result would be a 75 percent gain by this year ! Apple will hold the rest and as usual MS will hold micro part with their most hated wp7!
