"Most of the display problems have been ironed out, and the Galaxy Fold is ready to hit the market,”
WTH Kim... On one hand you're saying "most" not "all" problems have been ironed out and on the other you're saying it's ready to hit the market? So you're going to release knowing 100% of issues are sorted... Only mugs would buy it.

You're telling me that when you buy a phone you keep the silly little plastic bit that is on the screen?

To the people saying only stupid people are peeling off the plastic may I just say if it was only stupid people then why have Samsung taken the phone off market? because it's a FLAW.. their was no warning saying don't peel off. no phone should have a piece of plastic on the screen that breaks the phone when taking It off... I work in a phone should and 9 out of 10 phones come with a piece of plastic on. which they ask us to peel off. it that was to break the phone I'd be pretty pissed. it's just Samsung (who seem to release a new phone every week) trying to make money and be the first ones to release such a phone without it actually working correct. well I'm glad it backfired.

Anyway i woul... moreAgreed, though I personally wouldn't buy one simply because it's far too expensive at the moment. The thing is, we have to wait awhile for them to be more durable and thin. Solid state or graphene batteries could help keep the excellent battery life of the Fold and Mate X in a thinner chassis. And with Apple's company Corning making foldable glass, I would have to say we might have to wait five years before these devices are even 1000

z, 19 Jun 2019Fold already lost it's hypeNot quite. Despite issues, if Samsung manages to get Fold to the market first and not have the issues, it'll be a success. People want novelty stuff nomatter the price. No one thought anyone would pay 1000 or even 1500 bucks for a phone. Until Apple tried. And now we have bunch of 4 digit priced phones. Which is ridiculous, but people pay for them.

Nobody cares and wants a product with such potential hardware faults.
