NipponFan, 20 Jun 2019Your iPhone is made in China too Designed in the US/EU and assembled in China =/= made in China.

Products designed by Chinese companies are generally bull. However, products designed outside China and assembled in China are mostly good quality. They are good at assembling stuff quickly and at low cost, but they are not good at creating and innovating.

Way to speed up the process of dying smartphone, increasing replaceability and pollution . Kill battery by super duper wow mega charging that literally fries it.

Imagine how big the Power supply must be. Basically like a laptop one.

C'mon, 1 hour charging is enough. What about more lasting batteries, efficient technologies to extend battery life? Samsung s10e sot in normal usage is 2-4 hours, that's unacceptable in 2019.

Aniki, 20 Jun 2019Electricity leakage with such high power at 24A can be deadly...Hm? Are you suggesting that the charger is 5V 24A? That would be catastrophic. I would assume it is similar to VOOC technology, where the battery is divided into parts that charge simultaneously. Maybe 6 parts that charge with 5V 4A?

                    R.I.P wireless charging (for now)

TechLover1, 20 Jun 2019Absolutely outstanding! Well done and definitely keep it up... moreLol.. Samsung is reluctant to go above 25w for a reason! It's all about battery life.. As in hour long the cells last! For this reason i actually slow charge at 5v1amp overnight whenever possible which takes my S8+ about 4 hours to charge.. MUCH better for the battery! It's over 2 years old now and i will get great battery life from its 3500 battery.
What i would like even more is a setting to charge the battery at 3 or 4 different speeds.. one that is so slow it can take about 8 hours to charge overnight.. it's good already too be able to turn off fast charge trekking it down to 10w instead of 15w. The new tech is cool. I think 45 or 50w is totally ENOUGH though and we should only use this fast charge tech SOMETIMES when it's ABSOLUTELY necessary and emergency charge situation.. and other times.. Let out charge at a normal 10 or 15w range

if it doesn't explode i really want this.
how long would be the battery life? would it do at least 500 cycles?

Now we need phones with at least 6000mAh so less charging & more battery life.

xeo, 20 Jun 2019Now the battery last about a year instead of 2,3 yearsWhat do you mean 1 year? Even QC already wears down battery within months

That is, if the user actually uses all the phone features they paid for, and not minimal use so they could claim all day battery life lol.

Looks like I don't need to sleep, waiting for the battery to be full anymore.

                                BOOM!!

Absolutely outstanding! Well done and definitely keep it up to vivo. Additionally, hopefully the other brands will follow as soon as possible. Starting from Samsung with the upcoming Note10 (although I know it won't happen!).

I think I know what they did here considering it is really slow to charge any battery from 80% to 100%. It probably has a battery capacity that is larger than 4000mah, probably 5000mah.
