We developed an app for our company which is actually a web design firm, we chose both android and Iphone apps but most of our users complained us about iPhone app.

One thing that makes ignorant people (on the subject, not in general) not notice that iOS apps crash is that they just shut down and then they just open the app again, not thinking about it much. On Android you get a message about that it was force closed and you can choose to send information about it to actually help the issue.

I have Android devices too (that I use less than the iOS ones), and apps are crashing just as much (little) there too.
It seems people after reading this article get the impression apps are often crashing in iOS. This isn't the case.

At least droid users can make a call without bumper covers, pair with any bluetooth device, customise our phone to our heart's content and we actually have the option of battery replacement and upgraded storage capacity. Beat that apple!

I like how the author of this article tries to sit on the fence at the end. If the data clearly shows that Android apps fail less than iOS apps, you should clearly say it. Keep in mind also that there are a lot more android devices with different hardware out on the market, and for them to still have less crashes shows that Android is leading for a reason. iOS is just a glossy piece of crap.

You know, there's no real need for us users to brawl with each other. Each of us got a brain. So it's for us to do some research and go for the best phone that suits us. Let these two companies compete like hell. We benefit out of it. What we as users should be aware about is not to let any commercial brainwash us, instead do real time fact research before getting ourselves a smart phone. Simple as that!!! :p

Interesting info, but who cares? I dont use apps in any case as essentially it is a waste of time to trawl through the list of rubbish in an attempt to find something useful. In really why bother when the mobile phone is in fact just that, a mobile phone. Sure the cameras and video has become very good, and web can be quick, and screens are good, but they are still just a mobile phone at the end of the day. Games you say - stop wasting time and get a life man!

I can't seem to agree with with this report. I own an iPhone4 and android phone, my actual experience is that iPhone is very stable, I only experience games application closing itself, usually if I open a lot of it. Otherwise it work fine. Android ones I experience quite some application error and usually I need to force close it. So, you say which one is better then?
