Why can't Samsung make two USB-C ports on their phone? Both ports can do charge and listen to audio. There should be a failsafe that the one stronger charger should be used if some ne'er do well decided to use two chargers at the same time.

Jack is old, 27 Jun 2019Bluetooth is the future of wearable technology. Jack is jus... moreBluetooth is the future of wearable technology. Jack is just a old legacy port that needs to be remove ASAP, as space in a smartphone is at a premium
--> first, bluetooth maybe the future of wearable tech, but audio jack port is different, its the crown of audiophile/sound technology, not wearable tech, thats why those professional sound engineer who works in studio for cinema/music/ost still relying mostly on analog jack port or wired headphones not bluetooth. Space in smartphone is premium? we can see in the past or even now lots of manufacturers able to put FM radio, IR blaster, jackport, charging port, DAC, bigger battery, stylus pen, even those japanese phones like Sharp able to put retractable TV antenna so we can watch tv on the go without internet
With bluetooth not only you can listen to music or take a call, samsung can add sensors to the spen, or gear watch, or icon x. So it can measure your steps taken, apps notifications, extra features, that Jack can never do.
--> since beginning audio jack port is not designed like bluetooth for multipurpose function, its entirely different. Although bluetooth can give you accessibility to many devices like measuring steps, apps notification, extra features etc, still bluetooth still cant give you sounds quality like audiophile-grade from wired ones
Even improvement to Jack's implementation, adding all the features of bluetooth, it still will not be worth it, as it wired tangle easily, always require your host smartphone to be nearby. With a icon x, and a smart watch, you can leave your phone behind, go for a run easily.
--> with bluetooth everything is wireless, so u wont have wired tangle problems, but it give you another problems: you need to charge all of your bluetooth devices before use and its hard to tell whether your bluetooth devices needs recharge or not, bcause some of them didnt have battery indicator, bluetooth incompability problems can took minutes just to connect ur phones with your earbuds while wired earphones only need plug and go
Jack will still live on in the USB-C port. And they will still provide the usb-c earphones for people who are poor, can only afford the phone
--> to some people who owns money and demand for high quality or audiophile grade music will prefer expensive wired earphones which cant be compared to usb-c earphones, and even to the poor its far more expensive to buy decent usb-c earphones or decent usb-c dongle compared to decent wired earphone, and they pushed out their expensive wireless earbuds. So we can see that the real intention of those phone manufacturers is nothing more than profit or greedy

No thanks, Ill only get another Note when my still rocking Note4 actually dies(hardwarewise) but I dont think it will as I can easily replace its battery easypz, have IR, have 3.5mm Jack, FLAT SCREEN(not that curved edge-edge crap), still pretty decent camera, etc....

Looks like S10 Plus is my last Samsung phone. I use wireless earbuds but it ran out of power every 3 hours. When using wired headset, the audio settings is much more customizable plus you can listen for hours without worrying about battery life, compared to Bluetooth headset. I bet next year they gonna remove charging port as well for that wireless charging feature.

I usually find it convenient to pair my wired headphones to my laptop, my tab and my phone by simply sticking them with the pointy end.
Having to pair my wireless bluetooth phones when I want to switch the audio source is simply inconvenient. Not only does it waste a minute in pairing, I also feel that the pairing button will fail due to overuse.
Apart from that, I have found that bluetooth interferes with the 2.4GHz routers of my neighbours, and is downright unusable in public places where numerous other people are also using their headphones and Wifi.
So, although I like my bluetooth earphones, usually I find myself reaching for my wired earphones more often than the bluetooth ones.
If Samsung is ditching the 3.5mm jack on the "Note", it is simply emphasizing form over function that the Note markets itself on.

3.5mm Jack Fetishist, 27 Jun 2019I can put it in another way and say:
"Come on.... 10 peopl... moreTHANX,
Samsung want to reduce cost price more and more, customers every year losses things that made life easier, we had FM radio ,IR BLASTER, 3.5 AUDIO ,every year they remove one ,and have to by extension or other device or adapter.
Some says 21 century bla bla ,yes its that why we dont like to have 5 remote control and carry radio and charge headphone etc .Samsung wants us to be consumers of wireless equipments but we are not willing because we have to be tide to chargers and searching for remote control and buy Radio no freedom we are bake to 19 century .
