: Nope. Prefer image processing on P30 more. Sharpness detailing almost as DSLR does. S10+ sharpness + noise reduction combined looks plasticky. Colors on S10+ is too vibrant for my taste. Zooming, TOF autofocus in low lights is a winner. Dynamic range a bit better on S10 though.
*UI - Personal preference (i prefer EMUI) - objectively is one UI better, take a look at polls
: I dont care about any polls. Experience most matter to me. TouchWiz is popular for became lagging after long term usage. Been playing OneUI on my brother's S10, minor stutter is still there, makes me wonder is it same old issue again after long term usage, has to wait until next year on how it becomes. Hate Bixby. EMUI is as fast as day 1 even after 3 years. Its got the OIS looks, but icon & themes are customizable.
*Performance - Kirin 980 (my country S10+ just got Exynos variant, which is useless talking about SD855) -
: Nope. P30 Pro got the GPU Turbo advantage, along with Ark Compiler & EROFS system.
Design wise, Mate - centric design (professional/bussinessman), P series - follow the latest trend design (Iphone), but later on improvise on P30 series makes it more attractive than Iphone. Hate curve edges on both Huawei & Samsung phones. If u follow the old P & Mate series design, u'll know what i'm talking about. I dont see it looks like Samsung at all. Plus i could say the same thing about triple camera setup on S10 exactly as Mate 20 last year (wide+ultra wide+telephoto), reverse wireless charging, on screen fps (Mate RS were the first on the market), gradient color that Samsung starts to implement, but its kinda dumb. U cant stop technologies. Copying & innovation is a different thing. New things always welcomed if its good.

I am not a fan of Huawei ... but the P30 Pro seems a decent device/specs.
1. Not buying a Huawei device until they allow bootloader unlocking,
2. Not buying until punch holes & notches disappeared.

Speaking of design - it began with Huawei mate 9 pro, which was Galaxy S7 edge ripoff. Since then, they´ve been following Sammy design pattern with curved edges. Traffic light camera design is an Apple ripoff, EMUI is iOS ripoff. Just look at how P30 is similar in design with S10. Few changes here and there does not make a unique design style.

Be it post-processing, UI, SoC, design (P30 is just a design rip-off of Galaxy series) etc. etc. It´s just much better all rounder.
