I believe that the whole huawei USA fiasco is just to help American companies by cutdown Huawei's business. Apple must be enjoying the situation.

Then there are the ones that really want to tinker and customize their phones thoses go the android route, and finally last some just want a simple phone will go the non o/s route. As if some android user is going to switch to a phone that has a lack of a headphone jack, no finger print scanner only a dual camera setup and no micro sd card slot not to mention their cheapest phone launch price was way above your average android flagship phone, they are greatly mistaken

Not a surprise that Apple is ramping up, Samsung should also do really well also in North America. Since Huawei name has gone in the gutter no one is willing to buy from them, even now Huawei is still peddling their product with little or no biting from the masses. Haven't seen anyone buy from them yet...

Unless new iphones wont come with same price as Iphones 4 had around 400 bucks nobody would buy em.
The new design is rather horrible than bad.

Looks like Americas plan may have worked.
Restrict the competition and hope to sell more of their own devices.
If this was really about security why would Trump be willing to allow Huawei back as part of a trade deal.

iPhone shipments will stay the same or will slightly drop in future,cause of independent ios.Only way to push iPhone out is to come at least 2 operating system. Until then Apple will make big profit.
