I am not an apple user, but if you want to talk about company copying one another, how about we go to the very beginning. Look at the design of smartphones before the first apple is released, full of buttons. Look at all the smartphones design after that. Buttons all gone.

That dude must spend a good 5 minutes in designing each iPhone evolution. Wow impressive.. just like all of Apples copied from android inventions. Am I right? XD XD
The only thing they changed is the front, following android on the ridiculous no bezels trend. Other than that it's the same phone with little to no differences.
And since the design of the phones has become all screen, there is not much work to do for phone designers. So that dude left.
Not to mention that Apple is sinking so he took a lifeboat before the inevitable end.

Jony Ive's designs still go way back and far beyond just smartphones.

People aren't buying apple products anymore. Their all around sales show massive decline since 2017.
