What you see is simply leverage creation for now, US doesn't need huawei at all, some lost business for chip makers is not going to kill them if the threats became real. To give the chinese a few good of reasons to keep half honest is splendid and refreshing, chinese companies predatory practices have destroyed businesses all around the world, it's time they had some of it for themselves.

I don't see what stopping them from utilizing our information - with or without our consents. On the surface, it looks like they have T&C stating that our information will not be shared. But who freaking knows what is actually happening behind our backs!! No company is safe when you are using smartphones and connected to the Internet. Only fools think that Google / US is safer than Huawei / China. As an consumer, I don't really bother things which are beyond out control. I like and love Huawei phones and their technologies so I will continue to use their phones. At the very least, their phones can perform so much better than the US Apple iPhone which cost more than a bomb yet with so dated technologies.

and I don't use Google Maps specially Google Search even tho I am not inside Chine where it is prohibited, gain knowledge? Google is not the only place nor the only company that can provide you one

Wow. The US lost HARD in this whole matter. Not only was their bluff called, it showed that their own tech companies rebelled and found ways to sell to Huawei (see Intel and Micron). Not only that, it spurred Huawei to jumpstart their OS project and likely move their supply chain away from the US. It also hurt investor confidence in the US tech sector.

Are you blind?
Google never steals your data when you use android there is a terms and condition you dont read its your mistake but they only use your data for google services and they dont sell your data to others. Dont say you dont use the most used google services like Google search and Google Maps etc they are made up from your data which is extreamely useful feature in short they are not miss-use. I can search every thing on google and lord google is there to help me to gain knowledge.
But some companies sell your data for money and ads that you think its right and even they are running on android and put a flovour to android.
But still hats off to your thinking i love google and their support services they are the best and always be useful.
So please wakeup kid.

i am proud not user never been a user of huawei device. i only use keypad phones with nikon dslr with gaming pc and console.
