The world won't go forward if we keep being obsessed with the past. Stuck up mentality. The people responsible for those atrocities are dead, you can't blame the newer generations anything.

""Koreans have not been properly compensated by Japanese companies for the forced labor during World War II""
What about compensating European nations from Roman Empire rules centuries ago?
Why no one compensate Spain from Islamic rules centuries ago?
Why no one compensate Japanese from Chinese attacks centuries ago?
What about compensating nations that where attacked by Turkish empire centuries ago?
If we throw old garbage to each other why dont we move few years back than just WW2?

Why do they still look backwards? Whatever bad things is done previously lapse. History is gone. Look forward for better tomorrow. Digging old bad memories will not benefit anyone.

Aspros, 01 Jul 2019More power to the Chinese, OnePlus? OnePlus uses Korean panels etc. so they will be affected as well.
BOE however, might benefit from this, if this also applies to AMOLED panels and not just LCD. And they're not alone. AU Optronics, Royole and Truly Semiconductors can also benefit from this as far as OLED goes.
On the LCD side there's still some Japanese manufacturer's that will likely benefint from this. Sharp, NEC, Iiyama to name some.

But but, South Korea is already compensated enough from the Japanese. Without them, South Korea will not be known as the country with the fastest internet in the world, Samsung's topnotch displays and anything. What more do they want? Money?
The tech chemicals provided seemed enough to me.

Aspros, 01 Jul 2019More power to the Chinese, OnePlus? What? BBK Electronics (the owners of OnePlus) have a strong relationship with Samsung. OnePlus phones are basically a Samsung parts bin product, and that includes the display.

Dig up the dead and resurrect them. Zombie world is the future we aim for, right?! If the korean politicians decided to be stupid then the japanese couldn't stay behind. I really doubt this is what the regular koreans/japanese want.

If only SK and JP cooperated in technology, they'd be the world's biggest tech power. And that's facts. With companies like Sony, Samsung, Panasonic, LG, Denon, Nikon, Samyang, Tamron, Canon, Sharp, etc, no one could ever compete. Not China, certainly not the US.
Enough with being stuck to the damn past. Those things happened damn near a century ago, and those responsible for it are long dead. Time to look towards the future.
