so if an Item is widely available, then USA can sell to China, but if the Item is mostly exported by USA it can't?. That doesn't make much sense. I'm sure this whole incident is causing more loses to Chinese companies than allying with another provider would. Chinese companies should progressively change their suppliers regardless of this.

well in my opinion, I don't care about both of the countries, they only harass our people by crashing and sinking our fellow filipino fisherman and trespass our territory and even build military base in our seas and island and our freaking president don't even fight our rights and he also even let those small eyed dudes to work in our country knowing there are a lot of filipino not having a proper job , same goes to the USA. I hope this will change in the future.

My sympathy is for Huawei in this theater/circus/ban and not for the hypocritic americans.
But i really hope the dont agree in this case. Then the world will get a new OS for smartphones, maybe this year and the big looser will be US, because China will no longer will be dependent of the US and then US will loose money big time. And then the world will buy all the smartphone stuff from China to, because of liwer prices. All this because of a orange clown in a big circus called US. OMFG!!!

Despite lifting the trade ban, Huawei & all other non US oem should slowly reduce their dependence on US parts. Because who knows what lies in future?

We can keep Huawei out of the country but there's no threat selling to them..unless the other way around.No point destroying a great company like that...most of my family and friends use the Mate 20 series(i use the X).Trump's been a success and knows what he's doing.

of course it's not about national security. it's all about money and a lot of US companies can'r afford not to sell to Huawei. Trump surely was pressured by a bunch of the big companies which will otherwise lose billions
