Nope...instead Huawei should invest both money and devs into real Android replacements such as Postmarket OS or Web OS OSE to really solve the trust/single point failure and gov/country specific issues. Ones that are truly open source and global.

As an American I've got nothing against Indians but they're psychology that anyone or anything that offers the cheap has to be the best is just plain dumb..they even go as far and defend abominations like Miui.We get it,you can put up with crap as long as it's within your budget but the global consumers have different taste and convenience.

It is not impossible. Unix based OS can already run on all the platforms he mentioned. It is just a matter of optimization. iOS and Android are all over 10 years old now and there have been progress on making OS lighter for platforms that haven't even been invented 10 years ago.

India is screwed!
The Indian market is already ruled overwhelmingly by Chinese smartphone brands and with this the Chinese Govt, I mean Huawei (terms interchangeable) will be able to farm all this treasure trove of private, personal Indian data for their benefit, sad!

There's no going back. When some peoples think you're going down, you can prove them wrong this is the time to get stronger and self dependant. Every Chinese manufactuer, no only phone, should drop US parts. And the US got nobody to buy their stuff in huge quantity like China.
