This was launched last year with Oreo 8.1 and was later updated to Pie 9.0. As per Nokia's 2 year update cycle, it will get only one more update of Q. No point in buying a year old phone now.

AnonD-558092, 07 Jul 2019Those prices are awesome. 100$ for a metal phone, SD630, FH... moreHere in the Philippines, particularly at Nokia's official online store at Lazada, the Nokia 6.1 (4GB/64GB) is priced at $130 for more than 3 months now, but only few people bought it. People still prefer Xiaomi phones at online stores, while offline stores are dominated by Samsung and Huawei. I took advantage of the price cuts and got the Nokia 7 Plus for $230. Nokia 8 is also price at $230, but I think the Nokia 7 Plus is a better deal.

Those prices are awesome. 100$ for a metal phone, SD630, FHD IPS and USB-C. And Android One (with only Android R left yes but still). Wow. Enjoy India. There's everything you need here. Perhaps only missing a beefier SoC for the "gamer" that only plays trash games yet are all the rage lately. And a bigger battery. But otherwise that's a rock-solid package right here.
No way you're going to see this here. Only thing you can afford for 100$ here are trash Alcatel phones that only serves to be chucked away right after you buy it.
