In your dreams..!!!!.. They didnt reduce the price of iphone 6s when they made in india... Until sales figures are good they wont reduce. Stop buying iphones then you will see a stream of offers pouring in.

If Apple wants to sell iphones in India, start using contract model like 24 months contract which is everywhere except india. So they can sell more phones in India.

once upon a time i was curious about Iphone and its camera but not now. After using iphone for almost 5 years. I am now feeling Android is Android...No OS can beat Android...Android means Freedom....And also camera is huge better because Android now using large camera sensor...

It will take atleast 2 months for prices to take affect, they might let current XS and XR stock deplete first and by 2 months newer iPhones will be announced then older models might get sudden price drop and Apple might advertise newer ones as India's first high end iPhones

Not sure, why you had assumed that Apple will sell their handsets at lower price in India. Earlier they were importing those handsets from outside India which was attracting higher excise, custom and import duty along with currency rates fluctuations due to which final cost to consumers were increasing. So, in order to reduce this extra cost, Apple decided to manufacture their handsets in India under ‘Make in India’ initiative for tax concessions offered by the Govt. of India. But Apple had earlier stated that they will not reduce the selling price of their handset offered to final consumers and use this margin of saved money for future expansion in India.

Of course India can still get the newest iPhones. But Apple would prefer that the Indian market buy older/cheaper iPhones, than to turn to their Android rivals. It's just a numbers game.

this is such a pathetic, already India is filled with old car like Maruti Suzuki & Old Hyundai, now India can only get old iPhone?? Are there really that poor ? i mean why even Pakistan & Bangladesh can have newer iPhone.
