Ice Cream Sandwich is far away better than iO5, believe me... I own Iphone with iO5 update and I saw what Nexus can do, Iphone cant do it....

These patents are just political gifts to Apple to protect their investment and US jobs, no more, no less. Under a fair system, Apple wouldn't have been granted patents for stuff they didn't come up with in the first place.

I think Apple is following a saying that goes like this, "If you can’t have it, Steal it, if you can't steal it, destroy it!” Apple is just making unreasonable attempts to destroy other OS’s because they are really worried about the growing number of iHaters and Android lovers. Well, there attempts to do something like this is just increasing the iHaters crowd.

It takes a full two years to get something like this on the market,the technology was available to everyone at the same time (Apple didn't invent any of it) it just took some of them a few months longer to get it into the shops.I really don't understand the idea that it's so important to make out a particular manufacturer was first with something,does it really matter in the grand scheme of things?

And do you realy think that there is any possibility that Apple,a company who has to ban beter devices(they banned Galaxy Tab 10.1 in australia so the iPad would sell. Why? Were they afraid some other dervice may outsell theirs?) just to sell their overpriced, semi-functional gadgets(I mean come on, issuses like 'death grip' on a 600 euro phone),who steals from others and later claim that the "invented" it(Apple said that they "invented" video calling with facetime; the swipe feature in iOS 5 camera interface is a rip off from windows phone) would give away iPhones just like that.

This is pure nonsense. According to Apple and their patents soon it's going to be illegal to pick a number from your contact list and dial it. Or to have system wide cut and paste. Or to have the phone ring when someone calls you. It's such a pity that a successful company as Apple would go so low and show so little self esteem. The power of an iOS device is not in those individual patents but in integration and user experience. That is what they should patent. How should someone unlock a device? Any gesture on the screen is forbidden according to Apple. Should we go back in time and have a Hold switch? Then maybe Sony, Panasonic or Philips would have a case of infringement. They fully deserve their marketshare drop because they sell an outrageously expensive device and instead focusing on lower costs, cheaper products so that everyone can afford that amazing iOS they prefer to sue anybody and reinvent the wheel.
PS I own both a Galaxy Nexus GSM 16GB and an iPhone 4S 64 GB. Both do the same tricks. Both have ups and downs but at the end of the day you do what you have to do with both of them. However, reading the above article I've felt a bit of repulsion touching the 4S again.

No that's not the reason, reason is cheap android phones and the fact almost all phones nowdays use android. What would you think would happen if apple give iOS for everyone, i bet iOS phones win by far.

Or, maybe you haven't checked the calender, say, in few years? I know its a personal preference, but you can't say that iPhone 4S is better than Galaxy S II (compare the specs.). And next time, double-check your facts before you comment.

My God. Apple strikes again. I have owned an Androird device. Samsung GalaxyS and now have an Apple IPhone 4s. (Which I will not be keeping for too much Longer), And I can honestly say, the androids kick ass, and work just way better and way easier.
So Apple, get off your high Horses, and just make your devices better!!

I think that Apple will soon lose buyers because they are becoming the company that want to rule the whole world and tell everyone what they should or shouldn't do. Even now, they are one of the biggest company that exploit people only for their benefit because production costs of their devices are only 20% of the price. They are also trying to become the company that gain profit from numerous law suits. Because of all that, they disgust to people. Even they had some briliant products, I decided not to buy anything from them ever, and so as all my friends since we saw how they treat other. Yes, they have invented a lot of technical and software things, but now they are trying to misappropriate all other things that everyone else invented and has some small similarity to their. Well, someone should tell them that they are not the smartest on the world, and that there are much more smarter people and engineers than they would ever be.

If someone copies off the code and/or portions of it to the letter and implements it in a new mobile phone, than that's stealing, but if a feature is implemented using one's own code, I don't see it as stealing at all. It's like McDonalds and Burger King - both have double cheeseburgers, but you can't say one is copying the other now, can you?
