The 4K screen on the Xperia 1 already has a higher pixel density than the HTC Vive Pro VR headset. The 1R will push further.

The NFC require a "touch" to link up with the device, so connection is easy and safety, because you wouldn't touch unwanted device. Anyway that you personally opinion, as a user here I don't find any single problem with using NFC when linked to my speaker.

            And just for you i am from Slovakia. Small country in heart of central europe.
            5,4 millions of people about 250 km from sounth to north border and about 500 from east to west.
            Smallest salary among the european union countries around 600 euros but a very high 20% taxes on everything money can buy and 30% taxes on your wages.
            I hate it but i am just ordinary citizen and a humble businessman.
            But i kinda like it even our government rob us every single day.

Why should use that NFC for payment? Now I am wish to inform you the NFC is a great connecting method for headphones with NFC because it start-up the end of connector automatically once the NFC linked up, you don't need to press switch on button of the headphone's or finding the Bluetooth device in the searching list. This is a smarter way to use the device.

                  2 years ago my acc got hacked and i was for one month out of funds.
                  Thus the reason.

When user connect their phone to the headphones just have to turn on the phone's NFC in notification and match/touch/place the NFC logo both of it together, it can boot up the wireless headphones. If you use the Smart Connect app you can also assign more actions/events when pair or connect to any device.

                    I am sure you don't use it.

                        NFC is bad deal as always just for security reasons its not good.
                        Nobody wants to loose his account or get blocked because someone hacked you.
                        USB-C or Micro USB is still just one cable dunno what you talking about.
                        And Panzer glass a. poor quality, and
                        b. get smudges and fingerprints much quicker than a Gorilla/Dragontrail glass.
                        Its not true. On my Moto X4 have glass protector since i bought my device back in 2017 when it was released the glass is still as a brand new.
                        And about smudges and finngerprints those which are lazy to clean or vipe its screen i cant help.
                        To me its great enough to rest of the planet as well and to you and few individuals which are like you i cannot help.

                          I live in Europe as well, and I can assure you that the original price of this phone was 199 euros, now dropped to about 180. Same for the UK, France, and Italy.
                          As for the rest I mentioned, well... you're dying to support Xiaomi or whoever you support, so I'm not going to really bother. NFC is important for a lot of people, for connectivity and payment reasons, just because you don't use it doesn't mean it's useless. USB Type-C means one less cable to carry with you, and also a cable that's much easier to use.
                          Lastly, many of us hate tempered glasses because they're usually:
                          a. poor quality, and
                          b. get smudges and fingerprints much quicker than a Gorilla/Dragontrail glass.

                            Even now in my country L3 cost from cheapest in a store 174 euros uop to most expensive which is 262 euros among like 40 different shops which have it for sale and this is half year old device. Brand new cost just like that 350 bucks.

                            350 was the price of 10, not L3.
                            Redmi 7 does not have Gorilla5, usb C, nor NFC.
                            It even has 2/16Gb version.

                            For another thing to know if i put a panzer glass on my phone i really dont care if it have or dont have any gorrilla glass. And even on a 1000+ flagship people put panzer glass just in case of accident. To me panzer glass is just a gimmick which cost extra bucks but at sites such as wish or alliexpress i can buy even 5 of them for less than 10 and they will work the same way as gorrilla glass does.

                            USB-C or Micro USB the only difference is transfer speeds rest is not important like your statement. And for NFC on a google play store there are some apps which works same way,

No heat issues at all... barely warm after heavy usage... but my old Z3 was boiling after medium to heavy usage.
