Is the Huawei AI camera oversaturated image can be reverted? The oversaturated image looks so "China" style I have to say. Samsung camera also oversaturated and it color is very very punchy/hard color doesn't like real scene especially in daylight.

1.) The manufacturers are the ones who should train their AI (or software), so their post-processing could be better (not too much, not too little).

2.) Users can still use their manual settings, and I vouch for this feature. Most of the time, I disagree with my phone camera's autofocus (again, back to software), I also agree with your last statement where pictures look better with manual modes--which is exactly why manufacturers should train their software more.

3.) From what I gather, oversaturation was caused by post-processing, which returns--again--to software. I also think that the camera module specification has to be addressed too. In any case, if a manufacturer can train their software to recognize which parts needed post-processing, which had enough, so they don't oversaturate an image (or cause any other problems), I don't think camera arrays are neccessary.
-> In my opinion, adding camera arrays mean adding more inputs, which means the computer has to process more images in order to create the final result (if all of them work in tandem, that is). This would increase the challenge rather than solving it.

As it stands, I'm not an expert in all of this, so please take it with a grain of salt. I'm just throwing opinions here and there.

Why not let user choose the option and settings just like manuals? One more question how to train the AI camera produce less oversaturated image? Some of the Huawei fans told me It is better use the manual setting than rely on the AI camera.

I'm still wondering the importance of camera arrays.
With the implementation of AI in image detection, this exaggerated array of cameras should be able to be minimized--manufacturers should be able to train their AI (or software, whatever terms they are using) more and implement them on their phones.

I just hope this doesn't start a trend of multi-camera array, seems wasteful in my opinion.

One other thing, I will never buy a curved screen, I always use a screen protector and they look like poop on a curved screen. Wake up Huawei

I really do like Huawei phones, but I'm from the USA and with Trump and his problems with China, etc, etc I thought I better get me a Samsung, well I got a Galaxy A70, this is a POS Cell and I hope I néver have to buy another one from Samsung, Samsung could learn so much from Huawei, by the way, it says made in China on the box, I'm so confused.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2019wat purpse?? just remove face id sensors and have a normal ... moreThe number of devices with the regular FPS is decreasing and it's more and more replaced by the in-display FPS, so I don't see why there's a need to replace fast facial recognition technology with an older technology. Huawei used BOTH an in-display FPS and a 3D face scanner on Mate 20 Pro and I expect the same for future Mate series including Mate 30 Pro as well.
Also, you say don't worry, but quite literally it's worrying that a curved display will stay in the mobile industry when it completely lacks practicality. Accidental mistouch, harder to protect with a screen protector, more prone to crack and shatter and distorts the view on the edges etc.. I have S10 with me but in many cases I prefer to use my P30 instead especially when watching videos, despite the fact that it uses a lower resolution, lower quality panel than S10.

I'm not quite sure how you can say that when the improvements in the image quality of dedicated cameras are substantially less noticeable to most people compared to those of smartphone cameras. Replacing the high end smartphone every year for the camera update? That's what a small number of idiots do and most people upgrade their phones once in 2 or 3 years at most.

"But that would hurt the business model of all those smartphone OEMs"
Or simply no average consumer gives a damn about those interchangeable lenses because they break a point of having cameras inside a slim, compact body of a smartphone.
