LG Superfan, 22 Jul 2019I was talking about android version upgrade it come from Go... moreI understand what you mean but is not that easy as it seams. Yes, they do not skin the OS and do not activate settings or insert bloatware, the things others do. But a lot of developement is followed after a system upgrade release, to have a stable system in a variaty of devices. If it would have been that easy, believe me, all Nokia devices would have receive the Ugrade in the same day (of course regionaly depending).

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2019motorola one vision and pixels aren't available everywhere.... moreBoth Motorola One Vision and Pixel available on most major market so i don't see any problem with it.
Both Nokia 6.1 Plus and Xiaomi Mi A2 announced around the same time July 2018 both of them also comes with very similar specs but Nokia 6.1 Plus has significantly higher price than Mi A2 and you think Nokia price is okay? What a joke.
Yes the resolution is just HD+ but the OLED screen on Mi A3 is still more than expensive than Full HD+ LCD screen, so the answer to your question is still the same Nokia phones are overpriced compared to other phones with similar specs.

They seem to think having "nokia" slapped on the back (and the front, lol) of the phone makes it as strong as superman.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2019then what about Nokia OZO Audio for microphone, True Color ... moreI agree that audio implementations are useful, but only really noticeable if you're an audiophile.
Oh, you mean those "Zeiss dual cameras" that are actually a regular sensor and the other one a depth? Because that doesn't really count.
Also, specs do matter. Especially if we compare nokias at A3's pricepoint. A good processor can indeed keep your phone faster for longer and be more efficient when it comes to battery.

AnonD-819322, 21 Jul 2019Nokia completely obliterates Xiaomi when it comes to build ... moreThat's your excuse? Most phones are built in similar ways nowadays and, to be honest, I haven't seen any Xiaomi phones breaking in two lately. I think they're well built, and im certain a lot of people would agree with me.
I'd rather have a usable GPU and actual dual cameras than "better" build, thanks.

Nokia died since WP long time ago. This is not Nokia. HMD only uses Nokia name because of large user database around the world. It's almost August now and Nokia is sleeping like a bears sleep through winter.:))) No Snapdragon 855 device, small batteries, no memory card, no headphone jack, no nothing. What a shame for a company that was established in 1865.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2019Xiaomi have good build quality? please don't say this at al... moreYep, one of my friend also suffered from that, single drop and his display got bent from inside it didn't broke but the display wasn't working on some areas. So he went to the service center and they said "It got bent from the inside due to physical damage so we will charge you for the display replacement", But the phone was under warranty, due to bad build quality it happened and he had to pay for the display replacement.

Anonymous, 21 Jul 2019If your willing to compromise hardware specs over placebo b... moreI think you haven't owned the Xiaomi phone yet. Or if you have then you must be lucky that your phone didn't gave any problems. My brother has Poco F1 and it's motherboard got faulty and phone was dead. So had to replace it. My friend also got the Poco F1 whose display got glitches and it needs to be replaced and there are many cases like that. I've seen so many people that had problems with their Xiaomi phones mostly hardware issues. But I haven't seen that many people who owns Nokia or Motorola or brands that has good quality control, have had problems like hardware fails. Nokia makes robust devices, they just becomes slow after using them for year or 2 but they work for longer period of time. I'm using Moto G5 Plus and still working pretty good. No hardware issues till yet, just slow software update rate from Motorola. So I'm using PE Rom. I've had Redmi 2 before Moto G5 Plus which worked fine. I'm not saying that everybody should buy a Nokia or Motorola or shouldn't buy Xiaomi. It's just the experience I've had or people I know had.

Developers from what i have read, are under high pressure and overall the Atmosphere inside the Block is not quite a positive one. They need a new leader.
