    People saying "not looking good for Apple" but look, Samsung isn't even on the list.
    A shame oneplus is starting to crank up their prices or else it could be on the list if it was prices more "fairly"

      I am only glad Huawei is dominating everywhere.
      Really hope that the top 5 brands will be Huawei, Xiaomi, Oppo, Vivo and Oneplus for the rest i dont care because as always in the end they present a lot more expensive device with nothing special just a increased price for a company logo on the device.

      Like for example Xiaomi redmi 7 Note pro cost 200 bucks.
      Same phone made by samsung with exactly same specs would cost 450 euros.
      Or A70 by Samsung cost about 400 euros but same phone made by xiaomi would sells for maybe 180 euros.
      The only difference is that people pay 50% extra for a sticker on their device.

      If xiaomi could make genuinely same phone as Iphone XS Max 512GB disk space 4GB ram it would cost no more than 600 euros.
      Where even a Redmi go for 60 euros made by apple would cost 200 bucks.

        Huawei is really strongly marketed in China, they literally have commercials urging people to buy their phones because it is patriotic.
        Tensions with Google only made Chinese people buy Huawei more.
        No wonder this is happening.

          "Impresive". În the first quarter they had 59.1M which means în the first half they shiped almost 120M.

          Also their most important period of online sales of the year:‘618 E-Commerce Festival’ has been added to thei rfinal number of shipments. I can see Huawei to manage to ship no more than 250-255M this year.

          As an european îs nothing spectacular from Huawei. Only their Mate and P lineup are good, otherwise îs overrated. I see more potential în the BBK Group (Vivo, Oppo, Oneplus) which is the most inovative right now. Also Xiaomi with their afordable prices make the competition to keep lower release price. So Chinese people who buy only Huawei are so brainwashed like Apple ships because it represents the nation and it îs suported by the gouverment?

            Not looking good for Apple. They will have the same fate as Samsung in chinese market. There's nothing special about Iphone and they are more expansive.

                  Alwis, 30 Jul 2019This proved 270 million sales is fake. You better study harder so that you can understand that what they say about the total shipment of 270 million is the target they want to achieve in 2019.
                  You also have to understand that the number of shipments shown in this article (37.3 Million) is the amount of shipping for mainland China and second quarter only so that numbers is not the total amount of their shipments for one year for the entire market.
                  Apparently despite technological developments
                  nowadays it is very fast it cannot guarantee its users to be smarter.
