So far there was no need since I was using mostly LCDs and OLEDs just here and there. As for image quality and durability I believe there are pros and cons for both that's well known and everyone can choose. What I'm interested in now is that health impact some people talk about (like one below :) ).

And if you can live with potential burn in of you plan on having the phone a few years

Actually I don't really know if there's any flicker -as they say- on OLED other than refresh rate so you guys tell me if you know why is OLED worse? I don't mean colours or possible display changes (which is known controversial topic also discussed here) but screen stability and health impact for eyes etc.
So only thing relating that I can talk about now is refresh rate and that's what I meant previously. I just wish they put 100HZ+ displays to all devices as soon as possible, no need to have more than FHD+ resolution but this is important 'cause people spend looking at screen lot of time.
I'll be possibly use OLED finally for longer period so I'll learn what's better overall... Unless you guys solve it here now :D -doubt that.

GAMIRSFM, 01 Aug 2019Flickering? How people are able to see flicker? maybe becau... moreNobody's seeing it but it may make eyes get tired sooner... like old TVs flickered at approximatly 50HZ That's why top OLEDs today use 100+HZ compared to usual 60HZ. In general yes it's more advanced (that's why they put 'em in flagships) and gives better quality. Those cons people usually using against OLED like burn out pixels usually don't happen in real life -as far as I know (so maybe you're right they have no experience). Well I'm on nobody's side to me both are acceptable (next phone may be OLED), just wanna find out better.

What about that OLED's flickering? They say it's worse for eyes than LCD. I've been using OLED just a little so I'm not so sure about that neither have expert knowledge. What do you guys think? Of course I mean common displays not 100HZ (1+ 7 Pro).

IPS, 31 Jul 2019Enjoy your greenish-yellowish whites, Inacurate water color... moreI good to have options, but you said that LCD are superior, which are not.
-Greenish Yellowish whites? I can fix that by adjusting the display color.
-Inaccurate water color images? Where i never seen inaccurate water colors.
-less sharp AMOLEDS? On budget phones? yes they are less sharp, but i use a flaghship device and it looks sooo sharp, that i can't count the pixels.
-Burn-in? I don't get one on my OLED screen.

You see, there are always pros and cons. What is more important is to have options.
Oh! and don't forget screen burns, expensive to replace and easily breaks down on you AMOLEDS.
