This is midrange Honor, that means cheaper than Huawei and mostly for young people (AKA kids). Good price, big display plus notchless, great performance (suitable also for gaming) and average camera -naturally. Great offer for that money for many. Better camera can't be expected here. Not to mention comparing with Mate 20 X.

I would be very much considering in buying the '9X Pro' but its camera is just subpar.
Even with its 48MP, the image quality is average at best. I truly do not know why is that.
I was very disappointed when some samples were released a couple days ago.
I think it might be the same camera on the P30-Lite and I have seen real pictures taken with it, as somebody I know has that phone, and they appeared to be taken with a 2010 smartphone.
This is why the 'Huawei Mate 20 X' continues to be the best option for me. Excellent device and camera all around, even almost one year later.
