    [deleted post]I have using a China 2019 latest New entry phone, the camera quality piss me off even it is daylight, I can use manual mode but it have to wait 1~4 seconds to capture a slightly acceptable food photo but for people it really disappoint me because it oversaturated oversharpening and artifacts smear plus grain, I almost throw it away if there are a competition for throwing smartphone. The sound quality thru earphone is rubbish, I have been hurt by the cheaper treble and noises and the huge battery is very heavy plus the frame width is too wide that cause me can't handle well and drop off the phone most of the time when I want to typing the "q" from the qwerty keyboard fortunately it drop on bed not floor. I start missing my 'satay photo' that's memories 5 years still better than 2019 entry phones.

Remov... moreThe biggest grip I have with the Sony Xperia 1 or 5 is no headphone jack and the camera lenses are not flat! Everything else is spot on. However they need to do something unique or vastly different. The Xperia 1 passing off as a film phone or media phone could of had two micro sd card slots for example...

        I loved Sony phones, but Sony is making worse phones. Removing the headphone jack, making large screens but small batteries, small RAM and small internal storage, and rounded corners just like other poorly designed phones, those are the deal-breakers for me. Sony should keep up with its own design language.

                      Shui8, 12 Aug 2019I'm not bashing, just gave critiques for their cons, so it ... moreUsually I use the superior automode but willing use the manual to remakes the results because just a slightly increased or decrease the brightness can tell the difference "story" and it is very easy to set up just 1or2 settings usually brightness or ISO, a deep manual of camera mod like you said I have never try it out, because the original has provided the enough for my daily usage. While Huawei will never be in my wishlist, because I don't like China style color (you said it is street color and I also found on my WhatsApp group) that's contrast and color going too far from reality and the sharpness mix with the contrast even worse it makes the object less texture although it looks "clean" and high contrast deeper colors but that's no way a good one because the realistic must have the "texture" , example the skin looks like skin don't make it looks near/like plastic, yes it is a style and never suit me.
                      Xperia Theme UI is simplicity I simply accept it although it is not perfect but very lightweight and very low crash rate than competitors, that's enough for these several years. Simple is beautiful like Zen, too much fancy dress up it is a personal style, but I don't like it. Those complicated/fancy stuff would ruin the Zen. I just want/wish Sony makes more Japanese's Zen, but it looks more simple (International's) Zen.

                        About the manual mod, using Huawei, mostly i just left it at Auto, its cleverly done it all already, better than Sony Xperia Superior Auto, with image stacking in challenging situation & Auto HDR on high contrast situation, both indoor & outdoor. Stock Manual camers on Z2 is very limited, like i said, use the Cyberian Mod for more experience, with shutter speed control, more ISO option...seriously, it will improve the Z2 camera. I think i'm squeezing the max potential of Z2 more than u do, base from that satay photos. Dont tell me about those NFC, etc, of course i'm using it as well. Unlock bootloader, root, custom kernel with adjustable governer improving battery life, always using latest Sony media apps pushed into Z2 system (music, video, album), creating themes like newer Xperia, etc.

                        But like i said, after switch to my first Huawei (Honor 8 Pro), i dont feel the need to root anymore, less manual mod on camera, dont have trouble with battery life anymore, and of course creates my own Sony theming into EMUI (love the features, but hates EMUI skin), so its a win-win situation for me. I love Sony, but surprise on what Huawei has done to their phone as well. Again, both got their own pros & cons, but as for my needs, i find the pros more in Huawei, probably most of people too, otherwise Sony sales wont decline, means a lot of people jumpship to other brand already.

                          If Sony would keep a flagship phone as a flagship phone for more than a few month they would probably have better sales. Who would feel good after buying a $900 phone and then within a 2 months hear an announcement that the next version is coming out? Really a new flagship every 6 months is too much (not including the Premium models)

                            I choose Sony because it reliable especially from quality build, quality audio, faster browser, camera actually manual with 20MP can use, I to set the defined brightness myself, I always share in my whatsapp group.

They adjust the color into the artificial/punchy color, the real scene isn't like that. I have review my friend Samsung flagship and Huawei from the WhatsApp group, the punchy color oversaturated looks unreality. I willing to use the manual mix with superior automode on my Z2 because I know how to use. Basically in manual mode indoors I will set ISO200 and increase some brightness by the slider, hold well it get nice shot even though my Z2 camera techs was 5 year ago , when outdoors usually set at ISO100 or ISO50, when taking people/group photo I normally enable the smile shutter, it capture some surprise moments, sometimes I also activate the touch block to takes selfie with Main camera. The audio for earphone and wireless speaker output quality is very very good, the clarity the bass and low noise most important it very comfortable/pleasure to hear, the NFC connection is very user friendly, usually use it share photo and connect wireless speaker. The display isn't quite bright under sunlight but browser loads speed is very fast, ringtone loudness is average when it is inside my pocket, camera heat max under sunlight 45° many smartphone can also reach this temperature if you push it run for the prolonged period meanwhile I already take photos done, software is smooth and fast I also forget how long I don't restart/refresh my phone to free up the memory maybe 2~3 months, built quality simply the top notch wash with water drop it crash it many times and this is my 5 years Xperia Z2.

                                    Usless 4k screens with usless aspect ratios and horrible designs and cherry on top asking price is close to leader flagship ones. Sony is dumb cause, nothing changes from years to years, same problems no improvments.

I am real Sony user I have use NFC and some Sony products with the phone and results is nice, did you use with your Z2? No.
                                        While you give praising to Huawei, but they make "street" style image, you have told me don't you remember? In my WhatsApp group I can find it out image from group the Mate 20 has oversaturated (Street style or China style) image. For those people who love real and natural they will like me choose the Sony. I wait for some compact from Sony, I think it would be lower price and even better for carry, but that's isn't all. If people like you every time bashing Sony it will ruin their efforts even though Sony marketing isn't good as their competitors, but just don't mention how good Huawei is it, as you say no phone is perfect!
