Making a gaming phone is a contradiction. Casual gamers will just go for other phones.. while the gamers like the hardware aspects of the phone but the games is LACKING.
What they need is a way to attract good quality games makers. Such as apple arcade. But Google had to do google stadia... *facepalm*.
Games can be fun regardless of hardware limitation. Just that the goal of games are the rip your cash instead of bringing fun.

If the feedback is good I would suggest they improved the battery life of this phone in the future... Like can play 12hrs nonstop or more time of gaming with out recharging...

It's an unseeded behemoth. Nobody serious games on phones. Only casuals, and they can game on $100 phones just fine too. I mean they are casuals, they lack standards. This phone is unneeded. It will die a horrible death.
My dream phone would be as small as the original iPhone yet all screen (therefore a 5.2 in her) with a relplacable back. Oh also no ports because they are useless if your phone's back can charge on its own (and swap it in the meanwhile).
Not that it will happen soonish. Corps are risk averse. But it will eventually. Insta charge (basically), one handed use, actually new designs instead of the same old "gradually increasing screen size until we reach the brick limit).
That (for phones) and foldable tablets (for tablet lovers). Those two are the future of devices...

I wonder if we will ever see publishers taking games on Android or iOS seriously and release slew of good games and not just a typical mobile garbage.
Maybe one day, until then gaming phones are something like a high tech toilet plunger, it's nice shiny but you are still dealing with the same shit.

It's not like you can play latest and greatest games that are made for PC or console on these so called gaming phones.

This is the best gaming phone especially with the ROG Kunai Gamepad which is recognized as a standard gamepad and you can directly games with it without having to map all the buttons with each games like with the Black Shark Gamepad 2.0 and Red Magic 3 Pro Handle
But I hope we get the 500€ Tencent version ROG 2 because 800-900€ is too expensive in comparison to BS2 and RM3 price with nearly same specs

Software can be... morewell they have never given a way to expand storage in their older models.. most phones Nowadays don't provide headphone jack.. but they should have kept wireless charging as they charge a premium and the back is actually glass
