The number of features for the price does not merely justify wether a phone is superior or not. The iPhone may have less features to you, but the sheer uniqueness of the iPhone makes it still a worthwhile purchase. For example, if Phone A had 100 new useless features and Phone B had 10 new useful features, which would you buy? Probably phone A.

Wow Samsung really wants to make the Notes as expensive as possible, paying $949 for a 1080p display is a big no in my opinion
Like look at Huawei, they at least try and keep a reasonable price for the non-pro mates or P smartphones

T... moreThe way the Chinese companies do business is straightforward and simple: Develop the phone's body, let other companies provide the tech, slap a price for small profit depending on budget, midrange or flagship status. Boom, fame, fortune and a little social disruption.
In Samsung's case, they've been trying to figure out a way around this method. Only to fail because they've been doing almost every bit of R&D by themselves, forced to push higher prices nonetheless. Looks like Huawei's about to follow this dark path too.

Haven't you heard Apple cut prices for China recently because of their tax cut effect. So update yourself. Everywhere prices differ for things. In Arabic countries also, electronics are way cheaper.

If it had 5G, just wait for a month or two when Samsung reduces the price by $250-$300 you can grab NB the top spec at killer price, by which time, you would have new 4G mobile from Apple that would cost $2000-$2500 in my place, easily justifying the decision to go for Note 10!!!

Other countries import tax is high especially countries like India. Not only for phones but for automobiles as well.
What you've said last is right. Would've been same for the headphone jack as well.

Apart from S-Pen which is completely useless and obsolette for short work like sending message dial someone or brownse internet.
95% of real people wont use it anyway. They just buy note because they dont know what to do with the money.
By the way Samsung phones are made in china as well.

Actually NEW Technology is cheaper than older technology is Electronics. Faster SSD today is 1/10 th the price of older SSD 10 years ago ... we used to pay 100$ for 32GB Slow SSd now we pay 10$ for ten times faster 64GB SSD
and yes the price is not justified and the proof is the chinese market , they use the latest tech and sell their phones half the Price.
Had Apple not been around with their Pricing , Samsung would never sold their products for $1000
