China could also have suggested that NK and Pakistan and maybe a few African countries debt-burdened due to the Belt and Road ban Qualcomm but it would only make them look petty from such little influence those markets hold. Currently China has an additional ban on Boeing and a few others in the arms trade for again selling to Taiwan I believe.

Banning US services from operating in China is so small compared to US ban, you can bypass China ban but not US

LG Superfan, 07 Aug 2019Banning in own country is one thing but persuading other co... moreThere is no "worldwide" ban, the ban only goes as far as where US tech is incorporated, and the interpretation of that is why TSMC could continue to provide semiconductor to Huawei, or else Huawei is really finished.
