Always bought Samsungs top tier but now when I have Huawei Mate 20 Pro see no reason to go back to Samsung... They have LOST their "cool" factor

Will keep my note 9. Too expensive for what they offer.

note user, 07 Aug 2019stupid center holeIt's more ugly than stupid. Wish they put the hole in the top right corner like S10+.

Well, I was planning on buying it, but, Samsung, why remove the headphone jack, really? I guess I'll be sticking to my Note 9 then.

didn't like the 3.5mm jack gone

obviouslyfake, 07 Aug 2019Those flagship phones are getting so expensive these days. ... moreactually, the situation is not THAT bad:
                - if you really want the latest model, you have to pay a LOT, but
                - last year's model is somewhat affordable (you can get it for like 50 per cent of the original price), and it's almost the same as current year's model, as there are no big advancements...

                  stupid center hole

What to expect? That it's Samsung's take on the Huawei P30 pro? I'm saddened by the demise of the headset jack. Might get an aging Note9 in the near future.

Why no 128 GB versions for Note 10 or 10+
Starting from 256 GB to 512 GB....
                      Very disappointed...

They FINALLY removed the Bixby button! It was about time...

It doesn't annoy me that much on my S10e because it's not placed on awkward place and I actually remapped it to launch Whatsapp instead.

I really can't stand that holed display. It's just idiotic. The s9+ design would be much better, if they cannot give a better solution to the notch

No sd card slot - no headphone port - camera not up to pair - small battery .....
Can get all this on a 400$ phone.
                                Why spend 1000$?

Those flagship phones are getting so expensive these days. If it goes like this, soon we'll have over $2000 as the new "standard" price tag for a flagship, despite not much of an improvements have been made to justify the steep increase in pricing.

I mean, better display which looks exactly the same as last years' display unless you have microscope as an eye. SoC improvements that's pretty much the same, different process nodes and clock speed that's all.
and then what? underdisplay fingerprint scanner which only serve as a different placing of the previous fingerprint scanner in the back? a stylus that only usable to a small number of people? a fancy glass covered the phone that will break easily? better camera sensor that will still produce more or less the same picture quality because of its origin (small sensor compare to a full sized DSLR)?
