Really need a Linux distro for this, hopefully the upstream is quick enough to catchup with adding 8cx support. After all, the previous 835/850 support was already there and is still progressing nicely. And I hope other brands will enter this territory as well, because I don't like the keyboard layout. For God sake how could you all be comfortable with half size up/down key?

Anonymous, 08 Aug 2019What 'everyone'? I am using windows. Linux is only for coding. Just bought a two years old Thinkpad X1 Tablet 1st Gen on eBay for 400€.
Intel® Core™ m5-6Y57, 8GB , sold with Windows 10 ; shrank the W10 partition, installed Ubuntu Linux and dual boot. The device is transformed. It's not a powerful processor, but now this device is much more responsive than with Windows. It doesn't heat contrary to W10.
I'm using it for basic tasks like Firefox, mail, pictures. It's perfect.
Windows is such a crap compared to Linux. For those who want to go that route, chose carefully your machine. Thinkpads have good reputation for Linux support.

Lol windows. Most of everyone in my field is going full Linux. Pass. I'll look into these when they come with ability to install Linux. Like Chromebook or Samsun's very own Tab S (Linux on Dex) for example...

And my laptop can run any cell phone game with flying collors.
All due to a thing called bluestacks.
