They maybe even like the fact that there will be less people with iPhones out there. It will make the brand seem more premium.

At the same time, if numbers drop too low... they might have a problem.
Prices are high. And it's not easy to justify them anymore. Especially with competition rellentlesly pushing, and offering amazing features for significantly lower prices. Ecosystem is basically what's keeping them alive, but with current trend - even that won't last forever. Apple needs something groundbreaking, and they need it fast.

Apple recently fell to third place because of Huawei, now it fell down further, this time it's Oppo.
Apple keeps sinking, which is direct result of their greed... interestingly enough, they still won't cut down those prices...

Why does BBK have 4 subsidaries, can't they create 4 series of phones with a second name, like BBK Vivo or BBK Oppo, messes up the market share table too..., they're above Huawei.

LG and Motorola are still in top 10, that's impressive!

So, Oppo+Vivo+Oneplus (BBK) is already bigger than Huawei.

They are the number 2 in the world, right after Samsung.

The same ranking in the latest Gartner data.

Don't look at numbers. Just buy any decent phone and enjoy. Even Xiaomi will work better.

No mention of Infinix & Itel ? Amazing.

HappyAndroidUser07, 08 Aug 2019Who tf is Techo and why are they more popular than OnePlusThey sell phones in mainly Africa and also parts of Asia. They're cheap and an easy way for people to get a smartphone. However they are garbage compared even the likes of mid range , oppo, xaiomi , huawei etc.

40.8 million is too much to consider it others, this chart should be expanded to at least top 15, think of it, the number 11 after Alcatel is less than 3.8, considering it 3.7 and all the other brands after it 3.7 too "which is not", that's at least 11 brands.
