This is a really nice phone, but I must admit ASUS has won me over with their ROG II, that phone is a beast.

Changed battery thrice and the aluminum frame lost it's paint just after a year and a half. Performance dropped. Started lagging and couldn't even handle GTA SA at max settings which it could before.

I don't think the case isn't much of an issue, since you can get a Bumper which would stick out on the corners and sides, and prevent the front-back from touching a table or flat surface.

But yeah, this is more of a fashion statement, it's not a very practical phone.
I wish we can just get back the Sony Z3c and Samsung Note4... simply upgrade the specs but keep the design/practicality for modern times. Heck, I would settle for a Razer Phone 3 if they just added a Headphone Jack and AndroidOne.

And how do you put a case on it? It's not a good solution.

Well this actually does look quite decent (I wasn't a huge fan of Vivo's take on this with their NEX Dual Display), but I'm not sure if I'd be comfortable with the back screen generally. I think I'd be constantly worrying that I'd accidentally show some, uh, unwated stuff back there. I'd probably have to paranoidly check the back of my phone all the time or just throw some non-transparent case over it...

Even the rugged ones. I could even end buying one if those cameras give enough good result in the reviews. Really nice design. Although i'll wait till the vanilla Mate 30 before decide my next purchase.

No card slot, no 3.5mm, single OIS lens and still only 4000mAh battery, when others are giving more than that AND 3.5mm AND scard. No thanks.

So you should have to sacrifice the back case if you need to use the second screen. Not an elegant solution.

Really nice design. I like it. This have some lacks in features like the Note 10, but at least this one is really beautiful with an atractive price that sure more than one will end buying. Waiting for the reviews of this phone. I'm curious now.

dual display is the best solution for bezelless front screen. No moving/mechanical structure or notch plus the smaller back screen is easily usable with one hand(one hand mode). Too bad the solution is not adopted by other brands.
