P30 pro is the best camera phone at the moment only to be surpased with Mate 30 pro from Huawei.
Even Xiaomi Redmi note 7 with its 48 mpix camera for 150 bucks does equal photos like this sony phone for 900 bucks.
Rog 2 is phone with best connectivity.
And for all else there are tons of lot better devices than sony will ever be.

Too expensive for all the bloatware inside and that quick drain battery 4k useless screen and lack of good updates. Maybe for 400 or 500 othervise its just no.

Chip, 15 Aug 2019Get the device, flash it with a stock FTF and boom!, all stock.I'm waiting for the Mate 30 with the audio jack and FM Radio. With luck i'd even test the new Harmony OS in a near future and choose whatever i want to install, the Android or Harmony OS when i want. But for now, waiting till the 19th of next month and watch what other phones are released or teased at IFA 2019. Perhaps it could be an alternative more interesting with those features too. Who knows.

With how easy it is to flash Sony phones, buy it with the ads then flash the generic US rom, easy $100 saved with no ads.

I already find the 5" 18:9 screen of my XZ2c ugly ; I can't imagine a 5" 21:9 !!!! so i'm in the process to go back to my previous XZ1c which is 5" 16:9, lighter, side FPS, and headphone jack.
And i will trade my XZ2c for another XZ1c fast.
