Motorola's Razr foldable phone to land in Europe in December with a €1,500 price tag

20 August 2019
That's cheaper than Samsung's and Huawei's first foldables, but still a lot to ask.

Sort by:

IMO better implementation than Huawei and Samsung but those target a different set of audience but at that price it should be atleast SD 730

Looks awesome with no Gap for the fold.
There's probably a gap in the hinge allowing the screen to bulge in, to seeming close all the way without creasing.

I'm intrigued. Motorola's execution of the foldable is different from others. It is arguably the better approach. Motorola could have a seller on their hands if they nail the specs.

Way too much for a Motorola.

€1500 for old technology, they must be crazy. When the droid razr came out it was $600 and I assume it should be easier for them to make an old chassis and just tape a flexible screen on it with a custom hinge desing to fold the screen. This phone should be priced at least €900.

unfortunately Motorola are not the company they once where, 1500euros is far to high for a mid range device even if it is foldable, the specs are pretty weak, the device is a great looking idea and properly implemented it could be a great sell but not at that price, samsungs and huaweis devices are interesting, but they are even more rediculously priced, but they have brand attraction to sell better i think

I swear Moto are just doing this for the bants. 1,500 Euros for a Moto is pure banter
