notches are bad, but punch holes are eyesores, like looking at a beauty with a huge hairy mole on her forehead!

I'm having a Mi 9T and popup camera is what making the phone cool, especially when unlocking the phone. And not to mention that I'm enjoying the full screen experience without any punch holes or notches.

I think of one solution for the selfie camera.use the main camera at the back of the device as long as the back is made of like mirror glass like the sony xperia z5 premium silver model.that way there would be no notches or punch holes or moving parts.

Now imagine how much it'll cost to fix it and that's if it can be fixed. So NO spending a lot on a phone knowing the camera breaking is a huge risk is not worth it.

I love these and at least they can have a cool wallpaper to hide it even though the cut out is small for the 1 camera whereas the big notches on the Iphones, Huawei P 20 and 30 series and Huawei Mate 20 series have a HUGE OBTRUSIVE notch which can't be hidden at all.

A sorry excuse for not making a phone with a pop-up mechanism or anything.
They made a great screen and ruined it with a punch hole.
If this keeps up, Note 11 (or XI, who knows) may have a notch and huge bezels with wallpapers that complement them, like a photo with clint Eastwood where the notch completes the gun and the bezels are black bars for cinematic effect.

They know the hole is god awful now they are trying to cover it up. Unfortunately Samsung have simply turned into copy cats and following what they perceive to be fashion not listening to what their loyal customers want.
Such a shame they used to be good.
