Anonymous, 25 Aug 2019Sony Ericsson feature phones were better than symbian imo. ... moreback when the main series were K and W, SE phones were better than S40 phones perhaps but i think S60 phones were better. However, once you transitioned into Xpreias with X10, the various minis, pros, arc, ray (loved that one), etc., SE phones were better: android just changed the game.

I had this phone, although it looks great on paper and in the pictures the reality is it didn't deliver in many ways.
The keyboard was shocking keys wobble and sometime fell off if you was unlucky.
The phone was just to heavy in the hand.
I did love the concept i bought into it, but feel out of love fast.

Ill take you back to iPhone 1 era. It was supposed to be the best of the best. Although, in multimedia perspective it sucked.
Sony Ericsson had powerful speakers, good 4mp cameras with video recording, video calling without internet (just wow, for 2007), 400mb of storage with expansion and the usual unique design they had on every Sony Ericsson phone.
Can't say that about sny phone maker today unfortunately. They all offer pretty much the same. Including Sony.

The Xperia 1 Side Sense (the UI shortcut) is much like the "Japanese" Zen designs, simple and easy and intuitive and the animated transition is simply awesome! I watch the review from YouTube, it is very nice compare to older Z series, because the older Z series UI is just like an "International" Zen designs. Please remember that the Xperia 1 has an aluminium frame, the durability much better than plastic.

Actually Nokia N97 had a screen of 360x640px resolution, not 360x480 as pointed in article (this would be 3:4 aspect ratio, when in reality it was 9:16).

The design of this device was magnificent. Really had no idea it had build quality issues, only used it for like 4 months. It was a classy phone through and through. Those LED notification from both sides of the device was just a joy to look at Lol. Back then basics were done right and given priority.

Sony Ericsson phones were perfec... moreI had the T630, too. It was a neat little feature phone, but definitely not problem free. The propriety headphone dongle connector was incredibly glitch prone. If I'd gotten a cent every time I had to clean the connector of been a millionaire.
I still have my old Xperia X10 mini in a drawer. It's an undeniable fact that it was as laggy as it was adorable.

Why not mention how that was i believe the first phone capable of the retina claim? Or at least among them. Over 300ppi.
But you couldnt state that.
And wow. I didnt know htc made that one. It was a pretty cool phone at the time.
