Whackcar, 24 Aug 2019I'm all but certain the Non-Pro version won't have a Normal... moreNo, not at all.
The OnePlus 7t Pro won't be competing against the OnePlus 7 Pro, because they will stop manufacturing the 7 Pro. Same thing will happen with the 7t and 7.
I could see the OnePlus 7t getting the same cameras and specs, but what will differentiate it from the Pro model will be size. The 7t will be "medium/large" size and the Pro will be "extra/large" size. They both would (and should) get Wireless Charging.
People would justify for paying more for the large size with a larger battery (eg 3,800mAh vs 4,400mAh), the screen resolution (eg 1080p vs 1440p) and maybe the refresh rate (eg 60Hz vs 90Hz).
OnePlus won't make the leap to 21:9 aspect ratio, 120Hz displays, and in-screen Selfie Cams yet. That's probably reserved for 2020 and beyond.
Though I sort of wished they would sell a cheaper variant too, maybe a OnePlus 6 alongside it. Or better yet, a new "classic" variant that keeps the Headphone Jack and uses a more compact 16:9 design, with extra functions like IPS display (no burn-in), Removable Battery, Aluminium unibody, microSD, DualSIM, IrDa blaster, FM Radio, Rear fingerprint scanner, and Front-firing stereo loudspeakers. But let's be honest that will never happen with today's Planned Obsolescence.

Anonymous, 25 Aug 2019Forget about SD card and headphone jack by next year are do... moreYep, and the next remove the USB-C and the buttons, the speakers too, with the vibrating display is enough. And finally sell the updates. Like the expansions or dlc from games. It's the future, pay for the updates as it is a work done and as the phones are more expensive each year, to not make them pass the $1200 as average cost in the flagships, updates will be purchased separately at all ranges and prices.

I actually don't mind the circular setup but for me to care about the OnePlus 7T Pro, they'll need:
1. MicroSD slot (or even Nano Memory reader if they DESPERATELY can't make the space)
2. 5,000 mAH battery MINIMUM. If they're gonna use a gorgeous display like that, it needs a better battery.
3. Wireless Charging. If they are not bringing back the headphone jack, they can at LEAST provide a 20W wireless charging chip so the Type-C port isn't abused
4. Cooling chamber. If you're gonna be powerful, you'll want to cool down.
Otherwise, I ain't gettin' it and will await Razer, Essential, and HTC with whatever they're bringing out in the flagship game since the V50's reviews have been pretty mixed.

Galaxy Note 7, 24 Aug 2019Now that the regular OnePlus has caught up with the Pro in ... moreI'm all but certain the Non-Pro version won't have a Normal+Ultrawide+Telephoto setup. It will likely be Normal+Ultrawide+Depth-Sensor or something like that.
But yes, 7T Pro would need an obvious upgrade from 7 Pro to sell.

I wish they have gone for the 21.9 ratio like Sony and have challenged them. But it's going to be the same market bluff not a novelty. So carry on with it.
