Why bother at only 15 lumens when projectors today have for the lowest 2000 lumens and the highest past 4500 lumens?

WTF, No ICS out of the box??????

Asir, 26 Feb 20126GB RAM isnt possible, dual core SOC's have a max of 1GB an... moreThe press release says 6GB - it's a typo - should be 6Gb. Lots of manufacturers show RAM in gigabits, not gigabytes. So 6Gb = 6144 Mb (megabits) / 8 (convert to bytes) = 768MB RAM.

Sorry guys but the data on the projector is unreal. What I think Samsung means is that its capable to give up to 50" size and that the lamp can deliver 720p. But considering the size of the lamp 50" would be almost unable to watch, and 720p would be present around 17".

I hope samsung will not failed on this device, because the previous galaxy beam it has some major issue hardware problem not working properly,,

Yes, the original Beam (I8520) with only 6 lumens was released only for a small Singapore market in 2010. That's why you didn't see millions of people with this phone running around and even if someone standing next to you had this phone you probably won't see him projecting videos all the time (except if he's weird) :D

Now for some comments on the NEW Beam (I8530):
                                        1. I hope this will be released internationally and with a "competitive" price (so it won't be cheaper to just buy a real 2500 lumens + 1080p projector!).
                                        2. 15 lumens nHD (360x240) is a bit low, but that's the story of ALL pico projectors. Will see how this handles other light sources (I'm not talking about the sun, but about normal lamps/light).
                                        3. On sammobile I saw specs sheet and it said 6GB RAM? That must be a typo! I really hope it won't have 512MB RAM, but at least 1GB!
                                        4. 50-inch projectory image is a bit of a stretch here. Picture can get really fuzzy really fast. If I could stream movies thru Samba/LAN share with BSPlayer on a 32-inch surface with decent image quality, that would be a blast!
Of course this would be usable only in total darkness (at night).
If all 4 of my demands will be met, my hands will be over this phone in split nanoseconds when it reaches my country! :D
