The Kirin 970 already did beat the SD 845, as you can see here:

Now imagine what the Kirin 980, or even now the new Kirin 990 will do with the not-so-snappy dragon... Hard times for fanboys of the not-so-snappy dragon.

On a 6 inch screen anything beyound FHD like sony duid with Z5 premium is pzure crap.
Just matter of money but nothing as reward for its user.
FHD is enough 2k or 4k or 8k on a 6 inch screen is absurd useless and pointless.

Fun fact. Ran a 3d Mark test on my old back up phone. An HTC U Ultra with 4 gb ram and an Snapdragon 821. It scored more than 10% higher than my Huawei P20 Pro with 6 gb ram and a Kirin 970, a more than 2 years newer Huawei chipset.. crap.

On a 6 inch screen 2K 4K or 8K is pure crap.
Human eye is not desigfned for that.
Only on a TV of 42 inch or bigger have 4k or more any sense anything other is just paper specs but compared to a same FHD on a 6inch screen will be likely same.

Last year i bought Mate 20X and Sammy Note 9.
After 1 week i sold Note 9, it did not give me the premium feeling any longer.

Huawei p... moreThose days are gone, no need to attack other brands when you want to say something good about your prefered brand, my last samsung phone was s7 edge and right, after maybe 8 months the pho e was starting to show signs of lagging, whem playing rules of survival every 5 minutes i needed to jump to recent tasks and go back to the game so the frame rate returns to normal, it was very annoying, s9, 10,note 10 is another story now, now im huawei user but im waiting for the day when when samsung release same square design with not curved corners and ud front camera, till than im very happy with my mate 20:)
