Cant wait to use it on Mate 30 pro my next phone! Huawei phone never get hot like samsung phone, and no matter how powerful chipset that samsung put on their flagship device after 6 months of used the system starts lagging.. like telling you its time to upgrade, thats why I jumped ship couple years ago with Huawei, love my P30 pro camera with the crazy zoom that worth the price!

Battery depletes very fast, cameras/mobiles heat up quickly....not a very good thing when you do such things... Huawei Mate 20 Pro has 4K 30 FPS which is IMO not a bad thing. Their cameras miles ahead of the competition...

I hope their Mali G77 core counts are 2x more than last time. I'm tired of Kirins being surpassed by Exynos due to having more Mali G cores than theirs.

If they are, it won't be as powerful since Huawei (aside from not having 4K/60) has been at the forefront of the mobile photography scene for some time now.
Regardless, I completely agree that it is strange how Huawei has avoided this topic and is only just able to work this feature in. I had 4K/30 on my Note 4 ffs, although the S9 was the first to have 4K/60.

"There are two main reasons for this. First of all the benefits of 4K can only be seen on a very large screen and it makes little sense to have it on your phone. Secondly, it takes up a lot of storage to record in 4K so you will quickly run out of space and that's a nightmare for consumers. We recommend users to leave the video recording resolution to FullHD, it's more than enough."
Obviously, he lied and were embarrassed of the poor performance from the Kirin 980. Now, we have the 990 that suppose to be revolutionary?
Apple's A series, Qualcomm's SD, NVIDIA Tegra, etc. are working on 8K capabilities and the 990 is finally getting 4K60p?

As a Huawei user, I'm afraid that I'll not be using Huawei anymore because of Kirin. No matter how good their phones are, Kirin and EMUI just doesnt go with me. Purely personal preference.
