i agree that the design isnt stellar but that is a small price to pay for that monster of a camera.with that incredible camera any minus the phone has and any bad comment on it is simply meaningless

41MP, is just too much for a camera phone, they could have done it with the same 12 MP with improved lenses or maximum to a 18 MP, which is practical. Secondly its a single core 1.3 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM, available in may 2012, when the market is going to be flooded with dual cores and quad cores with 1GB ram on board. Who would want to buy a slower phone at the same time taking high mega pixel shots of very very large file size, strange !!! Lastly, the N8, had much better looks. I guess they said it would be for 450 euros, I would rather put my money in a Canon/Nikon DSLR. Nokia, what you guys upto???

I think this phone could replace my camera. The price needs to be affordable though. 41 megapixels is like a very high-end DSLR. That's crazy.

Shoot! 41mp? Gonna faint!
I am still going to use a dslr camera!
Do you think this will compete with Canon Eos Mark IV or Canon Eos 7D or any DSLR in the market?
Still and a big absolute no for another 20 more years!
Why? This most of normal camera or camera phone DOES NOT HAVE MULTIPLE AUTOFOCUS/multipoint autofocus.
Multipoint autofocus helps to produce an absolute deep depth of field and much2 more sharper image even in absolute low lighting. DSLR cam has a 12800 iso which allow you to shoot in low light and changeable lens that has f/2 or lower to make it even more possible.
That's why Canon Eos 7D is still the king with only 18mpx, aps-c sensor size but it still have the superior 19 autofocus point, up to 28000 iso and still the best choice among professionals.
And this Nokia Pureview 41mpx sensor is still good bit still can't compete with DSLR cam.
What a Blind fanboy!
