41MP, is just too much for a camera phone, they could have done it with the same 12 MP with improved lenses or maximum to a 18 MP, which is practical. Secondly its a single core 1.3 GHz processor and 512 MB RAM, available in may 2012, when the market is going to be flooded with dual cores and quad cores with 1GB ram on board. Who would want to buy a slower phone at the same time taking high mega pixel shots of very very large file size, strange !!! Lastly, the N8, had much better looks. I guess they said it would be for 450 euros, I would rather put my money in a Canon/Nikon DSLR. Nokia, what you guys upto???

Can anyone explain me this sentence "The Nokia 808 uses a 41 MP sensor, which captures image data from seven adjacent pixels and condenses it into one, resulting in stills at around 5 MP resolution with amazing detail and lownoise levels."
does that mean that we are going to get actual images of 5mp. I dont really understand this so i am just asking

Great job done here nokia!! It is a monster of a camera phone (not a great smartphone I must say) A little disappointed with the design though. If the image quality is not atleast 3 times the quality of current N8, than this number 41 is a marketing gimmick.

This will not be my next phone - Lumia 800 for that. This will most probably be my next camera!!
The N8 was awesome @12MP, with the N808 they've improved the sensor and put a lot of work into post processing. Still waiting on samples of course, but a great camera with a smartphone OS and a 3G connection? Hell yeah!
