I'm talking full fledged tablets, not phablets like the Fold. You cannot get there unless y9uo get money to fund the research and you get the money by selling early tech like this. People buying these phones now are more like supporting a the development of these project rather than actually enjoying the new technology. Just like 5G.

They cancelled the pre- orders because the redesigned fold will neore expensive. You think that Samsung will accept a smaller revenue from thia model. The money they invested to redesign it they whant it back plus the initial estimated profit.

The title of the article is a bit misleading. It sounds like Samsung cancelled new pre-orders too. You should specify that it's only the old ones, which majority of people cancelled themselves anyway. But kuddos to Samsungs for that $250 "bonus" for those who did.

It's ready for Korea, France, Germany ... so device itself must be ready. Not for U.S.A. though, so something about U.S. launch isn't ready yet.
