SpiritWolf, 08 Sep 2019If I was mobile gamer I would choose ROG2. But I am not so ... moreif i would be mobile gamer then i would go with Xiaomi black shark 2 Pro or Nubia Red Magic 3 that both cost 2 times less then ONE ROG2 phone.
And that Xperia 5 should be compact phone so what next from Sony will be 6.5 to 7 inch phones ? Even on that 6.1 it has larger body size then most of the Sony line up to date.

If I was mobile gamer I would choose ROG2. But I am not so Xperia 5 is it. Didn't answer to second poll as all those phones are underwhelming. If I must, then Motorola.

Nokia als... moreNew Nokia phones should be out of the box with android 10 right now so they will get android 11 and 12 plus one more year of security updates. But as of now they will come out with Android 9 so they get updated to 10 and later on to 11 and that will be it for them.
If they even get android 11 cause of there SD 636 and 660 can be so old that google maybe dont support these anymore for droid 11. And stock android isnt anything special if it isnt from google pixel as then it's unique from google. From Nokia this stock android isnt anything special as it has no Nokia touch on it and thats why it's not unique. They cant even have AMOLED screen on these price range they ask for there phones. Xiaomi Mi A3 has stock android too with SD665 and yes it has 720p screen but it still AMOLED and cost less then 7.2
Meizu 16Xs will be around 220 euro but has under display fingerprint reader and AMOLED 1080p screen plus SD675 for around 220 euro. Yes it dont have stock android and dont get updates but it has more value for the money. But then again it has bigger battery and smaller body. Nokia 7.2 is 159.9 x 71.2 x 8 mm while Meizu 16Xs is 152 x 74.4 x 8.3 mm.
And sorry i dont believe on some pseudo quality build Nokia fans talk about. I have had 90% of my phones only Nokia phones and there quality isnt anything awesome over what i have now. Nokia has old SoC and everything but ask the premium middle class price. They have nothing special or innovative. HMD just lives from the old fat that Nokia use to be and nothing more. Back in the day when Nokia were not sold to MS they had even the lower end phones with a low price and good SoC on them for the time they were released. Now they have 2-3 years old SoC and everything else too. This new 7.2 should cost maximum of 150 euro for it's specs. Even if it would cost 150 euro i would still not buy it cause there are even for 150 euro phones out there that will make them look over 7.2 like a flagship phones

Sony Xperia should not be struggling right now.
Those sony fans who can't do anything than voting and ranting about how good is Sony, You're all useless if don't even buy its product.

In my opinion, the 5 is the best flagship, being "small" enough for most people, and being the most versatile in what it offer at a "fair" price. The ROG Phone isn't bad, but it's way bigger and the gamer aspect is not what matters.
And I also want to see what TCL has to bring.

I don't like either of them atm, but if Nokia decides to release a flagship one day i'm sure many would give it a try.
