What to expect? "Innovation" and price rise! ;)

At $750 the iPhone 11 is actually not bad especially if it is smaller than the XR.

[deleted post]Sorry you're confused. Hardware is converging to the choice of a few CMOS models but software is now more important than hardware and Apple's SmartHDR delivers quite respectable performance overall, only it needs to catch up in low light and push its advantage in daylight.

Where as in Android world, take an example of OnePlus phones. Updates are frequent and on time. Even the 3/3T got updated to Pie. That's 3 years and still the phone runs fluid. Google's own pixel is the best example. Even other manufacturers such as Samsung, Sony, Huawei and even Xiaomi have been better with updates over time. So instead of saying things that you don't know or not aware of, educate yourself.

Joe Mcnally, 09 Sep 2019They won't For a tri-cam implementation NEX3's is the best I've seen, I don't know what's gotten into Cook for allowing this god fugly humps-on-hump (round lens humps on square camera hump, for that matter) design.
The sheer thickness of the camera lenses does inspire a little confidence.

My iPP was the 1st gen model I bought second-handed at about 40% off retail, it's now on the latest iOS 12.4 and could run the best anatomy models available anywhere without breaking a sweat. It also delivers a smooth gaming performance on graphically intense games like Anomaly 2 on par with the latest smartphones, that's future proofing. Unfortunately later iPP models are out of the question for me due to lack of the headphone jack and questionable chassis strength, but that's got nothing to do with a future proof SoC.

Im sure they will increase the prices. Considering the larger batteries, extra camera, reverse charging and inflation Apple will probably add $100 to last years prices.
