I dont know about other places, but those who buy iphone here arent the richer ones. People aint that poor but they dont actually have the money to buy am iphone directly. But they "feel" rich with an iphone. What a joke

all about is profit,and Apple is one of the most profitable tech company in the world despite high prices.They are very good at commercials,most loyal buyers feels more than satisfyed by their products.Persistence of how their products look and feel is something that make them instantly recognisable,and its a proven strategy over time.Still competitors exist ,most chinesse brands make cheap products with similar design for a third of iPhones price,thats eats some customers with not so deep pockets.Android is a hit or miss,step back,inconsistence in ui and so on.Current ipho nes is nice upgrades ,and everyone with enough cash using iphone and likes how it works,will probably buy a new one without bothering design of the cameras.Rest of the people who not have enogh money will go for Android phone wondering a which brand to choose,which ui version will like,why is so cheap,why doesnt work like Ipho ne.Thats the points where Iphones wins a lot,with high prices,and where others loose customers despite lower prices and diversity of models.

I had iPhone 4 and 6s but not worth that much money. Update is there but warranty no,and if something happen with phone u will pay 200€ for part.

At least apple iphone has different front design from all others. Annoying when someone says old notch design. What options they have rather than using their own design. No one designing front nowadays. Just copy one other's.

Oh you mean compared to the XS? The 11 is the successor to the XR, not the XS, like how Note10 is actually a Note10e while Note10+ is the true successor to Note9, except Apple didn't bump up the price this time.

Mike9625, 11 Sep 2019Dream about it! the screen on the Iphone XR is just awful i... moreOLED has greater contrast and most of the difference you're seeing is likely attributed to the contrast (especially with the artificially lowered gamma of Samsung's OLED panels by default, accurate does not mean appeasing, and vice versa), but as I said the resolution difference is smaller.

If you want to buy a new phone every 12 months go for it; I would say the vast majority of consumers and even enthusiasts don't think to do that.

The camera looks fine, it stands out way more than the cookie cutter smartphones from other OEMs that all look the same. The A13 will again reign supreme and neither Kirin nor Exynos nor Snapdragon will come close in terms of raw perf and efficiency.
What isn't so cool is that we still have a notch and barely above 720p display. Had apple removed the notch and increased the resolution and moved to OLED it'd the best $700 device. With the superior OS, camera and processing power there'd hardly be an Android phone in that price range that would compete with it. With these drawbacks I'd rather get the OP 7 Pro.
Maybe next year Apple removes the notch and adds a UD fingerprint scanner. I'd love to upgrade because I'm fed up with Android but Apple's unchanged since 2017 design is making it difficult to do so.

My mate who owns an XR doesn't believe me my Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 comes with both 18W wired+10W wireless charger in the box..and it's almost a year old..

Should have started Pro series at 128GB and moved XR to full HD while moving Pro to Quad HD. But Apple will squeeze the last penny out of its fanbase.
