Wait what i just read? Does android work like that? No you won't miss any notifications, they will come even if the app/game is closed. so you don't need to worry about that, that would be horrible. Where did you even got that idea?

I'm not a fan of iphones and I currently use a v20 honor as my daily driver, however, Iphones will never need as much ram as an android because their apps are already configured for efficiency while androids have to rewrite scripts to run their apps, now I don't remember the exact particulars but you can easily get this information from a quick search online, so 4gb on an iphone would be equivalent to about 8-10gb on an android because of this :)

That's not because of RAM, Apple wants it to reload Apps after you open enough them. Maybe you don't remember, but iPhone even with 2GB had all the apps open background few years ago. So the RAM isn't the issue. Apple just want it to work like that for some reason and changed how it handles the memory. I mean seriously when you open 20 different apps in one minute? In normal use you won't notice it.
In real use in two years i have had zero situation where i thought that my X needs more RAM. Android users just doesn't understand this because they are paper specs people and also this isn't android.
Apple is all about speed and performance so if they think their device needs more RAM they would add it.

Well done Apple. Apple is saving every single penny in Hardware and software anyway they raise their prices every year.
Most expensive phone (iphone 11 pro max) got not even hardware of crappiest Android flagship.

You know something is really messed up when you need to get the specs from a benchmark, not from official premiere.

Some fans will come and defend this low amount of RAM, claiming that iOS doesn't need more.
Well, as multiple speed tests on YouTube have shown, the 4GB RAM on the iPhone 10s caused some apps to close and the iPhone lost the test. 4GB of RAM is simply not enough if you use plenty of apps & switch between them. This is where any additional RAM makes the difference & allows the apps to remain open for immediate access.
I think all flagships in 2019 should start with 8GB of base RAM. In case of Apple, they could've upgraded to 6GB due to their slow upgrade structure.

Check out PhoneBuff's speed test between an s10 or note 10 and see how they keep all the apps open while the iphone XS with 4GB fails to do so

Goes to show how supperior IoS is compared to Android.
I doubt Android phones will be ever to catch up, at least not for another year or two.
I still prefer Android phones, IoS ecosystem is just too expensive at least for me.
