How to livestream tomorrow’s Huawei Mate 30 event

18 September 2019
The phone is going to launch despite Google’s confirmation that it won’t come with Google Apps or Services.

realitychecker, 19 Sep 2019I maybe an outlier on this one, but I don't think it to be ... moreI actually understand perfectly and I'm with you. I dislike Google. The only Google junk that remains enabled on my Note9 is the Play Store. If there was a viable alternative, I'd be first in line.

Unfortunately, Samsung gave up on Tizen, despite the fact that Tizen succeeded as a viable Android Wear and TV alternative.

Though I hope that Huawei won't be a jerk and if it releases its Mate 30 without PS outside China, they release it with an unlocked bootloader so that people who really want it could just flash the PS and use the device as any Android device.

Also it will be hard for Huawei to convince developer using their own store.

I will go for the M30P for sure.
I really think it will end up to be a good thing for me.
Maybe i can be lucky and try the Harmony OS to.
But i can easily find some other solutions instead of Google bloatware... So bring it on :-)
Its good for humans to think in possibilities instead of limitations and if we think like this, we always find some good solutions, same will happens here (y).

Dont be worried for the battery, it will give tons of time. I have the m20x right now, its amazing with the battery time, yes its 5000mah, but still its strong.

AnonD-558092, 19 Sep 2019Yes. Rethink possibilities of a Play Services-less device.I maybe an outlier on this one, but I don't think it to be such a bad idea. My only concern is battery, camera & long run performance tbh. Tho, in the software side, I can't stand iOS so im basically nailed with samsung and huawei for now, and by extention - to google. Any move by any of those to have an alternative is very much welcomed by me. But perhaps, I'm alone on this one. Sad.
