The vast majority of XDA-recommended apps (not ads, actual apps made by people at XDA) require some sort of root or access to custom Recovery or Magisk.

that price though, I don't know if its worth it without google playstore. well, only rich people can buy this stuff. It's like they are saying, "hey buy this because its beautiful and has the best specs and if its a bad phone, sorry no going back mate.

I rather put the money and buy the Galaxy Fold and invest into tech that will become better next year and the year after.

I though the price would mirror the battery capacity! $4500 and you'd still find people to buy it!
The design is elegant this time, though. Definitely better than the old Porsche design.
